Minab, Iran: Iranian media confirms U.S. and Israeli forces bombed an all girls elementary school in southern Iran. As of March 1st, 2026 the attack left 148 killed and 95 wounded mostly young girls ages 7-12.
“We take these reports seriously and are looking into them,” Capt. Tim Hawkins, a CENTCOM spokesman, said in a statement.
Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian described the attack as an inhumane act, calling for all forces to be mobilized to provide assistance to the injured.
Pezeshkian said: “The painful tragedy that occurred at the ‘Shajareh Tayyibah’ elementary school in the Minab district, and the martyrdom of dozens of innocent students as a result of the unjust aggression by the American and Zionist attackers on civilian centers, has pained the hearts of all the sons of the Iranian people and all free people in the world.”
